Is Anger Impacting the Quality of Your Life and Relationships?
"Anyone can be angry, that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right reason, and in the right way, this is not easy." -Aristotle, 384-322 B.C.
Don't let the term "Anger Management" dissuade you from acquiring new tools for life!
Anger Management classes are for individuals and couples who desire to better manage, control, and express their anger in healthy, life-giving ways. Classes are ideal for self-referrals, couples, individuals in recovery, business professionals, and anyone interested in improving their relationships and leadership in their personal life and/or the marketplace.
Anger Management Classes
The Century Anger Management Model* is used, giving the 8 tools of anger management - tools that anyone and everyone can benefit from. These tools are excellent for people in recovery and couples wanting to work hard on building peace and greater health into their relationships.
The "Anger Management for the Twenty-First Century" workbook is required for your learning. Unlike psychotherapy, classes are educational in nature with brief discussion, practice, and minimal homework while learning several skills to put into practice right away. Some of the skills you will learn are:
- stress management,
- developing empathy,
- learning to respond instead of react,
- changing our "self-talk",
- assertive communication,
- adjusting expectations, learning to forgive (but not forget), and
- learning to retreat and think things over.
